Services: Investment Preparation Advisory Service

Who is it for?

The Innovation Advisory Service (IAS) is designed to help ambitious “growth companies” in the South East to identify what to do, how to do it and to gain access to resources and funding. Companies will typically use technology as a major part of their commercial activities, or be planning to, with 30 – 1,000 employees, although there are no strict limits on employee numbers. The majority of companies that the programme helps have been established for some time.

What are the benefits?

  • The Experienced Innovation Advisors can visit your company and work with you for anything between 2 hours and 10 days free of charge.
  • IAS provide a service to help companies identify projects suitable for Research and Development Grant Support – grants are available from between £ 20,000.00 to £ 500,000.00.
  • They will identify for you opportunities to bid for government contracts – within the MOD for example or the Research Council. Their aim is to provide excellent access to these new contract opportunities.
  • Access to Knowledge Transfer Networks within the South East and the UK itself.

How do I apply?
