We ask you to provide certain personal details about yourself when applying for membership of this site, for example, your name, email address and postal address. We give you the opportunity to register your privacy preferences and return at any time to change them.

In order to help us improve our site, we will also collect information automatically about your visit to our web site to help us with identifying users' browsing preferences. This information is collected for internal purposes only so that we can carry out research on our users' demographics, behaviour and interests. By using this site you consent to our collecting data about you and using it in the manner set out in our privacy policy.

How are your personal details used?

Your personal details will be used to process your application. We will also use this information to improve our marketing and promotional efforts and to assist us with improving our content and services offered on the web site.

As stated above, we also collect statistical data so that we can analyse site usage and customer needs.

Every time we send you an update, you will also be given information on how to unsubscribe.

This website is operated by and on behalf of Canterbury Enterprise Hub, whose office address is at The University of Kent, Canterbury, CT2 7NJ.

Do we disclose your details to third parties?

We will not pass your personal details to any third party except to our web site contractors or our professional advisers. We may change this policy in the future and have given you the opportunity to choose if you wish to be included.

There may also be circumstances when we are required to forward your personal details if required by law.

You can rest assured that we will not sell or rent your personal details to any other organisation. If, however, in the future, we sell our business to a third party, then we will pass your personal details to the business purchaser.

We may use your personal details for direct marketing purposes within Canterbury Enterprise Hub and from time to time you may receive direct marketing from us. If at any time you decide you do not want to receive you can return to the Members' Only Section and change your preferences by editing your details.
